Player CommandsThe following commands are for the use of all players: /adopt Player - Adopts a player as your son or daughter where 'Player' is replaced by the name of the player to be adopted. This command is permanent, it cannot be reversed, please make sure you are certain before you use the command. /dk - Allows you to desert the kingdom you serve, this command is only available to knights but not dukes/duchesses with a duchy. /e - Emotes, used to denote an action.
/m Player: Message - Sends a message to an individual player where 'Player' is the intended recipient's name and 'Message' is what the sender wishes to say. This type of message is called a Player Message or PM. These messages are intended only for communication with players who are currently online as they move with chat and only last for only 24 hours. /id Player - Shows the level and race of any player, bar Deities, Demi-Gods and Quizzers, when 'Player' is replaced by the name of the person to be identified. The information is displayed in the format of 'Player is a level x Race' where 'Player' is the player's name, 'x' is their level and 'Race' is their EK race. /kd Kingname - Locates the kingdom of the player denoted by 'Kingname' in the form of: /knight Playername - Promotes 'Playername' to a knight of your kingdom. This command is only available to people who rule a kingdom. /ruler Kingdomname - Shows the ruler and location of a kingdom based on the kingdom name denoted by 'Kingdomname' in the form of: /sadopt Playername - Adopts a player where 'Playername' is the child of your spouse. This command will not work if the child already has two parents. /seen Player - Shows how long any player has been idle when 'Player' is replaced by the name of the character you wish to find the idle time of. This information is displayed in the form of 'Player was last active x days, xhrs xmins xsecs ago' where x is replaced by the amount of time since the player's last action and 'Player' is the name of the player you looked up. 'x days' is not shown where idle time is less than 1 day. /sur Surname - Sets your surname where 'Surname' is replaced with the surname you wish to have. Be careful this command only works once, please be sure that you have chosen the name you want to keep and check for spelling mistakes before you send the command. Surnames cannot be longer than 50 characters long. /time - Displays the current server time in 24 hour format. As: Remember the use of the chat channel is a privilege not a right, by breaking the chat rules you will forfeit that privilege. ModeratorsIn order to ensure people in Elysarian Kingdoms play fairly and stick to the rules we have a number of different types of moderators: Chat Moderators - These moderators are responsible for enforcing the chat rules, they have no distinguishing feature in chat but you will be able to tell if a mod is around by checking the online mods list. Roleplay Moderators - Also known as RP Mods their duties involve: moderating the roleplay channel, encouraging and helping new RPers, assisting RPs, performing weddings and divorces and, when there are none available, perform the duties of a chat moderator. Demi-Gods - The duties of these moderators are to maintain the rules, they moderate the behaviour of players, chat mods and RP mods. Deities - These are the game administrators, they maintain and update the game. Along with RP Mods, Demi-Gods and Deities other coloured names you can expect to see in EK chat occasionally would be: Quizzers - Quiz Master is the only quizzer, it's purpose is to run quizes in chat for gold. Birthday Girl and Birthday Boy - Birthday Girls and Boys have no special abilities either, they are just a birthday present status. Donators - As a reward for donating donators get a pretty coloured name. Donators also have no special abilities. Other colours may be given for services to the game, these players do not have any special powers unless they are also a moderator. The following people have been awarded a colour:
Moderator CommandsThe following commands are for the use of all moderators: /curse Playername - Removes a player's ability to use capital letters and makes all of chat appear in capital letters for the person denoted by 'Playername', for example /curse Wraith. This should be the ONLY punishment used on people who break the caps rule. /mc Playername - This is a macro checking command that displays the quiz stats of 'Playername', information from this command includes taken quizes, skipped quizzes and number of right, wrong and moron answers. /mute Playername - Removes a player's ability to chat where 'Playername' is the person you wish to mute, for example /mute Nuffe. This will the most common punishment for breaking the chat rules. /mw - Creates a moderator warning in chat. For example /mw Please don't use excessive caps in chat. /rcurse Playername - Makes all of chat appear in reverse for the player denoted by 'Playername'. This is a minor punishment that can be used to warn a player. /rsur Playername - Removes a player's surname where 'Playername' is the player with the offensive or innapropriate name to be removed. /spam Playername - Mutes the player named in 'Playername' and removes all their posts from chat. This is to be used when the player spams or sends highly offensive messages in chat. /url Playername: address - Sends a hyperlink to the intended player where 'address' is the url and 'Playername' is the intended recipient. For example /url Scotticus: chatrules.html, this will appear in Scotticus' chat box in the form of: The following commands are for the use of RP Mods and higher: /marry Husbandname, Wifename - Marries a willing couple denoted by 'Husbandname' and 'Wifename' where 'Husbandname' is the player whose surname is to be used for the couple. Both the husband and wife could be either gender, thus allowing for gay and lesbian marriages and for heterosexual couples who wish to keep the surname of the wife. /w - Descriptive text, also known as 'BWW' this can be used to set the mood or add description to a roleplay. It should mainly be used in the roleplay channel but can however be used in chat as long as it is used in moderation. For example: '/w The skies darken as thick black clouds form overhead, a crack of thunder can be heard in the distance and dry toast starts to rain from the sky.' would appear as: The following commands are for the use of Demi-Gods and higher only: /ban Playername - Bans a player from the game where 'Playername' is the name of the player to be banned. /bday Playername - Changes a player to Birthday Girl for a female player or Birthday Boy for a male player where 'Playername' is the person whose birthday it is. /castrate Playername - Turns a player into a eunuch where 'Playername' is the name of the player to be castrated. Eunuchs cannot marry or adopt children. /colour Playername: Colour or /color Playername: Colour - Gives a player a temporary coloured name in chat where 'Playername' is the person to get the colour and 'Colour' is the hex code or html colour name. Only works on players and chat mods. Begging a Demi/Deity for a chat colour is against the rules. /demod Modname - Removes the moderator, RP moderator or Birthday Girl/Boy status from a moderator where 'Modname' is the name of the moderator to be 'demodded'. /gg Playername: Amount - Gives gold (quantity denoted by 'Amount') to a player where 'Playername' is the player to receive gold. This command is also available to Quiz Master. Asking for gold is against the rules and may cause you to get muted. /kill Playername - Instantly kills any player it is used on where 'Playername' is the name of the player to be killed. The main purpose of this is command is macro checks. /locate Playername - Locates any player where 'Playername' is the player's name. /shake Playername - Gives a screenshake to a player where 'Playername' is the name of the player to be shaken. For example /shake Cyr would result in Cyr's screen shaking for a few seconds. /voice Mutedplayer - Cancels a mute where 'Mutedplayer' is the name of the player who is muted. /zap Playername - Reduces a player's level by 20%, all the player's stats by 25%, reduces their gold to 0 and kills them. If Cardinal Fang is a level 100 with Str: 2000, Agi: 700, WS: 4000, Ntl: 700, Wis: 700, Cont: 700 and HP: 700 with 5000 Gold /zap Cardinal Fang would reduce him to a level 80 with Str: 1500, Agi: 525, WS: 3000, Ntl: 525, Wis: 525, Cont: 525 and HP: 525 with 0 Gold and he would be dead. Zap is a severe punishment. The following commands are for the use of Deities only: /ip Playername - Shows the IP of the player specified by 'Playername' in the form of: /who xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - Shows all players on the IP specified where 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' is the IP. /mod Playername - Promotes a player to moderator status. /rpmod Playername - Promotes a player or mod to Roleplay Moderators status. /don Playername: Amount - Adds the donation ('Amount' in GB pounds) made by the player denoted by 'Playername' to the donator top list and changes them to the Donator colour if their total donation exceeds £5. /nuke Playername - Removes a player's kingdom and sets their status back to Mr/Miss/Mrs. This command is mainly for removing kingdoms from banned players but can also be used when a player wants to get rid of his or her kingdom. /sys - Creates a system message that is displayed in all chat channels and shows as: |
