Creating a CharacterChoosing a Name The most important thing you must do is choose an appropriate name, if your name is innapropriate you will not be allowed to play. Your name must conform to the Chat Rules and the Name Rules. Names will be auto-formatted upon creation however should you still manage to choose a name that is considered innapropriate you will either get banned or your name will be changed and you will be informed via your registered email address. Choosing a Race Before you create a character you should choose your race, different races are good at different things and you should choose one that will be good at what you want to do.  A full list of race stats can be found Here and information about stats can be found Here. Choosing a Gender You would think this would be pretty straight-forward but you would be surprised how many people get this wrong. Supplying a Valid Email Address It is important that you supply a valid email address as you will need to use that for correspondance with the admins. Email address is used as a verification of identity and as a way for the admins to inform you of changes or problems with your character. Reading the Available Information Nobody likes ignorant people, pretty much everything a new player will need to know can be found within the pages of the manual and the rules. Ignorance of the rules is no defense for bad behaviour. Validating Your Character When you click submit on the character create form the game will issue an email you the address you registered with, in order to play you must click the link supplied in the email. Getting Your Voice All players start of muted (unable to use the chat features) this is a precaution against people who come to the game simply to break the rules, in order to get 'voiced' you need to validate your character. Once your character has been validated it will automatically generate an email for the admins with a voicing request. Do NOT email the admins to be unmuted. Voicing is usually done once or twice a day but sometimes the admins can be busy so it could take up to 5 days, should your character still be muted after 5 days it is possible the validation confirmation has not been recieved, in which case you may use This form to apply for a voice, making sure you type your character name and registered email correctly. Use of this form (or emailing the admins directly) repeatedly or before 5 days is up could result in a delay in your voicing as punishment. We CAN tell. |
