- I created a character, why can't I log in?
- The most likely reason is that you have not yet validated your character, to do this you need to have filled in a valid email address when you created your character. Upon creation a validation email will be issued to the address suplied, in this email there will be a link, click on it and your character will be validated. You should now be able to log in.
- If you have validated your character and can still not log in it is possible you have incorrectly typed your password or character name. If you have done this you should have got a pop-up saying this is the case.
- The only other reason your character may not log in is if the game is being updated, if this is the case just wait a few minutes and try again.
- I just started, why am I muted?
- All players start off muted to prevent people making multiple characters to spam chat and generally behave badly. It is also to confirm the validity of the email address the character is registered to.
- I just started, how do I get unmuted?
- In order to get unmuted or 'voiced' you need to validate your character. Chances are that if you have realised that you are muted you have already validated your character, in which case just be patient. Once your character has been validated it will automatically generate an email for the admins with a voicing request. Do NOT email the admins to be unmuted. Voicing is usually done once or twice a day but sometimes the admins can be busy so it could take up to 5 days, should your character still be muted after 5 days it is possible the validation confirmation has not been recieved, in which case you may use This form to apply for a voice, making sure you type your character name and registered email correctly. Use of this form (or emailing the admins directly) repeatedly or before 5 days is up could result in a delay in your voicing as punishment. We CAN tell.
- How do I become a moderator/RP moderator/Demi-God(dess)/Deity?
- Each mod/admin status is chosen in a different way however one thing is true for all: Never ask/hint/set up a petition/email or get a friend to ask/hint/set up a petition for you to become a mod/RP mod/Demi-God(dess)/Deity. There is a never-be-mod list and people who bother the game administration for any of the previously mentioned statuses WILL be added to it.
- Moderators are chosen on their game and rule knowledge, activeness (what's the use in a mod who is only online one hour once a week?) and general behaviour in all aspects of the game.
- Roleplay Moderators are chosen on their ability to RP, their ability to help inexperienced RPers, their frequency of RPing, their knowledge of the game and their general behaviour.
- Demi-Gods and Goddesses are chosen very carefully, there will only ever be three, they need to be active (play and chat every day), they need to have a complete understanding of the game and rules, they need to be 100% trustworthy and then must be willing to RP occasionally. Demi-Gods/Goddesses are chosen only from current mods and RP mods.
- You will never become a Deity! There are 2 Deities, Arialla the database admin and Erebos the game coder, no more are needed.
- What is the two strike rule?
- To prevent people bothering the mods/admins Arialla has set up a rule, people who ask/hint to be a mod, RP mod or Demi-God(dess) will be added to the first-strike list, on the second occasion of asking/hinting they will be added to the never-be-mod list. People asking/hinting to be Deities will not get a 'first-strike' and will go straight to the never list for general inability to read the available game information. Those who seek power are least equipped to deal with it.
- Why is the two strike rule not on the rules page?
- This is a test of sorts, it is expected that anyone who is responsible enough to be made a mod will read ALL of the available information not just the basics.
- I'm a friend/relative of Erebos/Arialla can I get free gold/equip/guards/structures?
- Simple answer - NO. That would be unfair on the other players, and, as it is testing the majority of the players are friends of the admins, it does not make you special. As it is a beta occasionally there may be situations where players may be given things in order to test new updates, these will not be permanent and anyone asking for anything free will be breaking the chat rules (asking on MSN/AIM/YIM/another game chat/email/the game forums will not get you anywhere either and would likely get you blacklisted from being a specific tester).
- Where should I send my ideas and suggestions?
- You don't, there are currently many planned updates, some are available for players to view in the forums, others are secret. As players do not know all of the planned updates suggestions are usually counter-productive. In the future it will be possible to send your suggestions via This form. Suggestions should not be sent in game through chat or PM to prevent the admins getting spammed and because the admins have really crappy memories and will likely forget straight away.
- I was in a kingdom when I logged out, why am I somewhere else now?
- When the kingdom you are in gets destroyed you are automatically thrown out into the wilderness (often to 2, 2).
- Why do I get a pop-up that says "Stop trying to cheat!"?
- When you click a stat 2 times or click one then change your mind and click another the game thinks you are trying to cheat, before this pop-up you could get multiple stat increases per level if you clicked the stats a lot.
- Why does combat not work after I get the "Stop trying to cheat!" pop-up?
- It's a small part of our anti-macro code. Just relog should this happen.
